Weaving stories since 1977. My Tassels is the everyday-wear store of the House of Abi Silks, a family business rooted in Sirumugai, Coimbatore.
Where we come from
Abi Silks began in 1977 in Sirumugai, a handloom town near Coimbatore, with a simple belief: honour the weaving tradition and keep improving it. Today that is more than 50 years of working with weavers, fabrics and customers, and a community of 1.3 lakh+ followers on Instagram who trust us season after season.
Our founder
Gunasekaran V has given over five decades to handloom weaving, and was a National Award winner in 2012. His approach is the one we still follow: respect the craft, and keep the designs fresh. My Tassels by Abi Silks brings that same eye for quality to everyday prices: cotton sarees, fancy and daily-wear sarees, our Luxe edit, stitched and unstitched kurtis, and accessories.
